My site is back!!!

Thanks to some jerky hacker my site got hacked for a little while. Sorry for the inconvenience. I didn’t know I was so hack worthy, but apparently I am. What a truly awful experience being hacked by someone, but onward and upward my friends.

In loving memory of my wonderful Grandfather

Tis Been Too long – It’s MMA Photography Time!

Hello everyone I’m back, I’ve been in hiding for a while sorting some business stuff out – I’m still in the process of doing that as well. I hope you’re doing well. I have a very cool updates I have a new photography gig coming up this coming Friday May 15, 2009 in Chicago.

It’s at the Bellator Fighting Championships at the Aragon Ballroom. I can’t wait for this gig to happen I am an avid MMA fan so it will be fun to see some great fighting and probably have the best seat in the house. The company I’m doing the photography for is Sherdog which is the largest MMA website in the United States and is an ESPN affiliate.

So, that’s all for now I will have links, videos and pictures to come! Here a clip from a Bellator fight below and here’s a great article about Bellator in the Sun Times.

Things I love: A Message from Ed Begley Jr. to Me

I was recently watching the special features on the Blu-ray for Pineapple Express and noticed a feature called “Begley’s Best,” I curiously clicked on it to find out it was a short documentary piece on Ed Begley’s eco-friendly cleaning products. What fascinated me was that Ed was seemingly doing it all himself. His goal to be like Paul Newman with “Newman’s Own” and he also give his proceeds to charities. Ed also doesn’t take a salary in case you were wondering.

So, I checked out his website at www.begleysbest.com and emailed them about getting some cleaning products and could I also get a bottled autographed? I thought to myself, I might get an email back from an assistant in a few weeks, but to my surprise I got an email back in about half an hour from Ed himself (I didn’t really think it was him at the time). Saying he’d be happy to autograph a bottle for me just leave a message in the notes section of the order.

So, I did just that let him know that I wanted the autographed bottle of Begley’s Best Glass Cleaner. I also let him know how I heard about it on the Pineapple Express Blu-ray.

About an hour and half later I got a call from an 818 area code. I didn’t pick up because I didn’t know the number and then it said they left me a voice mail message. I checked my voice mail and to my utter shock – it was Ed Begley thanking me! So please check out Ed’s website at www.begleysbest.com.

See below for the actual voice mail message with some clips dropped in.

From: Gapingvoid.com – one of my favorite artist Hugh Macleod who does “cartoons drawn on the back of business cards.”

I’m starting this blog over again and it’s focus will be marketing in the Web 2.0 world. I will have helpful posts on how you can take your company in a favorable direction. Making use of a lot of tools that are free to everyone to use, the trick is just learning how to use them correctly. I welcome any feedback you may have or ideas, this blog will also be about creating a dialog between me and you. So, I look forward to hear from you in the comments section.
