About Me
I was born in Park Ridge, Illinois, and we settled in Rockford, Illinois. I went to Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Illinois. I played football and we actually won the NIC 9 conference championship (and the last time Harlem won the NIC 9 was 20 years prior.)
After high school I graduated from Rockford College with my bachelor’s degree and Rockford College actually convinced me to stay and earn my MBA as a graduate assistant. If you’re interested in earning your MBA please visit their website.
During my graduate assistantship I worked at Illinois Campus Compact my first year. They’re a national coalition of nearly 1,100 college and university presidents – representing some 6 million students – dedicated to promoting community service, civic engagement, and service-learning in higher education. My second year I worked in the College Relations department (public relations and marketing) at Rockford College.
Currently I’m going back to school at Dominican University earning my Master’s in Social Work.
I have a variety of interests including wood working, photography, exploring Chicago and brewing hand-crafted beer.
